Stef Duffy is an American painter and sculptor based in New Jersey. Stef was born and raised in NYC and studied art at Skidmore College, Parsons, FIT, and NYAA. Stef lives in New York and works from Mana Contemporary, his studio in Jersey City.
Stef’s paintings and ceramics are visceral, erotic, and psychologically penetrating. They are a reflection of society and everything beautiful, disturbing, and complex within it. Stef is inspired by the mannerist and surrealist school, using his works as commentary reflecting fashion, sexuality, and modern culture. A master of the human form, he twists the human figure in his works into surreal monsters and martyrs.
