MYTH, SYMBOL, AND ENIGMA: SOMETHING ALONG THAT LINE
March 16th - April 16th 2023
Myth, Symbol, and Enigma: something along that line is a group exhibition featuring the works of two talented artists. This exhibition explores the intersection of mythology and enigma in the conceptual art world, challenging viewers to consider how abstraction can create a sense of mystery and intrigue. Abstraction allows us to step beyond the limitations of representational art and embrace the beauty of the unknown. In this exhibition, we see the individual styles and voices of each artist come to life through their exploration of this limitless medium.
INTERACTIVITY
November 10th - January 16th 2022
The term “interactivity” describes the communication system’s unique capacity to “respond back.” This is societally and artistically significant in our living world as it promotes a sense of belonging and security, always desired, breathing in and out the multicultural air in thriving environments like New York City, where we learn to form an amalgamation of differences. Interactivities between citizens and travelers are what allow the city and its multicultural commentaries to continually grow by developing and maintaining vitalities.
FROM NORTH TO SOUTH
JULY 28th - OCTOBER 25th 2022
The title of this exhibition is inspired by a painting by Bernardo Navarro, of the same name, featuring figures blending into a sprawling metropolis. The works displayed evokes sentiments of motion… literally and societally. We as humans move constantly via walking and transportation, but also through the constant shifts in ideologies, power, and parameters of society. Our pieces reflect the forces of change and persistent motion that surround us. We welcome you to join us at AMRM Gallery to witness life, art, and the human imagination in motion.
