Alec Waxman
Raised in NYC, Alec Waxman is an American painter. He graduated from Duke University in 2021 and is now based in Tel Aviv.
Alec Waxman portrays subjects in unconventional social and intimate contexts. In his paintings, homoerotic undertones relay fantasy and dream-like imagery that conjures nostalgia and a sense of fun. In addition to producing figurative work, Alec plays with abstraction in color and form in seascapes that are inspired by time spent on and around Gardiner’s Bay, NY.
