AMRM Gallery is pleased to present The Two Suns: As the World Runs its Course, a solo exhibition of the new works of NYC-based artist Renelio Marin (b. 1964, Havana, Cuba). In the paintings and drawings of Marin, he builds and dissects surrealist landscapes and characters, exploring concurrent dialectics between humanity, nature, technology, and the new age. Marin mediates on the inextricable links between the conscious man and the jungle, masculine and feminine, and the light and darkness of our being. Marin’s concrete awareness of this dialectic inhabits the physical and psychological spaces of his works.
